Program Description

Wound Healing Concepts for the Clinician is an educational web cast program designed to enhance clinicians' understanding of current concepts and techniques in burn care.

The web cast will be offered first as a series of Lunch ‘N Learn programs, featuring a pre-recorded guest lecture by a nationally recognized physician leader in burn care followed by a live interactive question and answer session. At the end of each of the first three lectures in April (see schedule featured below), clinicians will be encouraged to email their questions to the speaker who will provide answers to participants using the web cast technology.

  • After viewing the web cast, physicians and nurses will complete the home study requirements (post-test and evaluation) on line made possible via a link from the web cast to a testing site.

  • Accreditation Certificates will be issued online to clinicians who successfully complete the post-test.
